Shooting by Benedetta Cavalli

Value of the bond you built with your horse – this is the reason why me and Icona were chosen by Benedetta Cavalli for the creation of a shooting that showed the feeling of being a duo. A couple not only during competitions, but above all in everyday attitude that there is “behind”, who often it’s not visible or it’s taken for granted, but which makes us all one entirely, and that then allows us to express ourselves fully when the arena bell tolls, because we know each other perfectly, completely. A life practically lived together. This is what we are and what I hope will shine even throguh the beautiful shots of Benedetta, for those who do not know us directly. A base characterized by the outfits always imprinted about the agonism we practice, but a warm and intimate touch to emphasize our “you and me” idea.
I’m so glad with the result of this session, I thank Benedetta for had thought of us, for her great professionalism, and for the fact that before we met she was so careful and curious to study us asking for as much information as possible to have a complete knowledge of the connection that keeps us together and then express it through her photography.

Valore del legame che si instaura con il proprio cavallo – questo il motivo per cui io e Icona siamo state scelte da Benedetta Cavalli per la realizzazione di uno shooting che mostrasse il sentimento di binomio. Binomio non solo in campo gara, ma soprattuto in ogni attitudine quotidiana che vi è “dietro”, che spesso non si vede o che si dà per scontata, e che invece ci rende un tuttuno a trecentosessanta gradi e che ci permette poi di esprimerci a pieno quando suona la campana, perchè ci conosciamo perfettamente, completamente. Una vita tutta praticamente vissuta assieme. Questo è ciò che siamo e che spero traspaia anche dagli splendidi scatti di Benedetta, per chi non ci conoscesse direttamente. Una base caratterizzata dagli outfit sempre improntata sull’agonismo che pratichiamo, e un tocco caldo ed intimo per sottolineare il nostro “io e te”.
Felicissima del risultato di questa sessione, ringrazio Benedetta per aver pensato a noi, per la sua grande professionalità, e per il fatto che prima di incontrarci sia stata così attenta e curiosa di studiarci chiedendo quante più informazioni possibili per avere una conoscenza completa del legame che ci tiene unite ed esprimerlo poi attraverso la sua fotografia.
