First outdoor competition of the season, spent at the Equieffe under the rain!
Unlucky weekend in terms of weather, but favorable results. The program of this National A5 * provided a new highlight on Saturday compared to the other usual three-day competitions: the Grand Prix 115, in which I took part. 1PM start of this mixed formula category, which saw forty-five pairs to the first round, and then only seventeen admit to the decisive barrage thanks to the zero of the first round, and that ended at 2.30PM with the award ceremony. Together with my mare I made a double clear round that, in the time of 40.40 on the second round, earned us the 9th place in the standings and the lap of honor with music after the awarding of prizes. Primo concorso outdoor della stagione, trascorso all’ Equieffe sotto la pioggia!
Week end sfortunato sotto il profilo del tempo, ma favorevole nei risultati. Il programma di questo Nazionale A5* prevedeva una novità clou nella giornata di sabato rispetto agli altri usuali concorsi di tre giorni: il Gran Premio 115, al quale ho preso parte. Ore 13.00 inizio di questa categoria a formula mista, che ha visto partire quarantacinque binomi al percorso base, per poi ammetterci solo in diciassette al decisivo barrage grazie allo zero del primo giro, e che si è conclusa alle 14.30 con la cerimonia di premiazione. Insieme alla mia Icona ho realizzato un doppio percorso netto che, nel tempo di 40,40 al secondo giro, ci ha fatto guadagnare il 9° posto in classifica ed il giro d’onore a suon di musica dopo la consegna dei premi.
