The second and last day of my trip with Longines at Piazza di Siena began with a tour of the stables of the international competition between the real heroes, the horses, and various stop with great riders including Filippo Moyersoen (do you rember the stage I did in his stables in March with Icona?), Natale Chiaudani and Roberto Arioldi. You can not imagine my excitement, I try to capture everything and build on it to improve in some way, also while I’m not riding, my equestrian culture. They I returned to the Longines stage for lunch: delights and view from the front row to the Corriere dello Sport thophy with height 1.45m, the perfect combo. After the award of Robert Smith, who won the category, at 2 pm, just before thebeginning of the Grand Prix Città di Roma Loro Piana (the most important category of the entire event with prize money of 200,000 Euros) it followed a surprise that I appreciated the most: the jury announces the opening of the field, and along with Longines I entered that door beyond which opens the whole arena, plowing with my feet the sand of the field to do the GP reconnaissance me too with him, Uliano Vezzani, the chef de piste who designed it and who explained me one by one the course plan of obstacles. Incredible is not it? Then I saw shine Emanuele Gaudiano who won a stunning second place behind Nick Skelton, for only eight hundredths of a second. My afternoon ended with a bit of relax at the Longines tables and many delicious cakes, before leaving again to go home. Protagonists of the day my new Longines sunglasses and the two-tone top with bit detail by Alexandra Ledermann (you’ll remember her for the interview that she released me last March), a brand whose clothes are designed for competition of course, but they are also elegant enough to be worn at social occasions such as this. Thanks to the whole team of Longines, and in particular to Veronica, for the wonderful experience.
Il secondo ed ultimo giorno del mio viaggio con Longines a Piazza di Siena è cominciato con un giro alle scuderie del concorso internazionale tra i veri eroi, i cavalli, e vari stop con i cavalieri tra cui i grandissimi Filippo Moyersoen (vi ricordate lo stage che ho fatto alle sue scuderie lo scorso marzo con Icona?), Natale Chiaudani e Roberto Arioldi. Non potete immaginare la mia emozione, cerco di far tesoro di tutto questo per accrescere comunque in qualche modo, anche quando non monto, la mia cultura equestre. Sono rientrata poi al palco Longines per pranzare: delizie e trofeo Corriere dello Sport altezza 1.45 in prima fila, il mix perfetto. Dopo la premiazione di Robert Smith, che si è aggiudicato la categoria, alle ore 14.00, appena prima dell’inizio del Gran Premio Città di Roma Loro Piana (la categoria più importante di tutto l’evento con montepremi di 200 mila Euro) è seguita la sopresa che più ho gradito: la giuria annuncia l’apertura del campo, ed ecco che insieme a Longines entro da quella porta oltre la quale si apre tutta l’arena, solcando con i miei piedi la sabbia del campo per fare la ricognizione del GP anch’io e proprio con lui, Uliano Vezzani, lo chef de piste che lo ha disegnato e che mi ha spiegato il percorso degli ostacoli uno ad uno. Incredibile vero? Ho visto poi brillare Emanuele Gaudiano che si è aggiudicato uno splendido secondo posto, dietro a Nick Skelton, per soli otto centesimi di secondo. Il mio pomeriggio si è concluso con un pò di relax ai tavoli Longines e tantissime torte squisite, prima di ripartire nuovamente per tornare a casa. Protagonisti di questa giornata i miei nuovi occhiali da sole Longines ed il top bicolore con dettaglio filetto e collo alla coreana di Alexandra Ledermann(la ricorderete per l’intervista che mi ha rilasciato lo scorso Marzo), marchio i cui capi sono studiati per la competizione sì, ma sono anche talmente eleganti da poter essere indossati in occasioni mondane come questa. Grazie a tutto il team di Longines, ed in particolare a Veronica, per la bellissima esperienza.
